Question about determing quad-band vs. tri-band

Hi everyone, just had a quick question. I recently flashed my phone (L6 from cingular unlocked and now on t-mobile with sim) with one of superjoker's MPs. Now i'm just trying to determine if my phone is now quad-band or if it's still tri-band.

under network settings i have 3 choices: automatic, 800/1900 or 900/1800 which indicates to me that the phone is indeed quad-band.

however, when i go to phone status and check under technology it says: GSM 900/1800-1900 which makes it seem like it is still tri-band.

i have noticed that i still hear a buzzing when on a call that i read someone say meant that the phone was only using the 900 mhz band which doesn't work very well in the US.

can someone confirm that my phone is using quad-band and not tri-band?

if it is showing 850/1900 and 900/1800, it is indeed quad-banded.

The technology tab will stay the same, but you can do a seem edit to make it say otherwise. (i have the seem edit if you want it.)

as far as the buzzing, set it to 850/1900 instead of auto and see if that helps.
