L6 mod - clublights hack

Hi Guys.

I'm now the proud owner of an L6 SLVR (R3511 family). I've got p2ktools to work just fine with the phone, and noticed on the other features pane of the software the hack for the clublights feature, which in the Settings > Personalise > Ringer Lights menu gives me the new ringer lights option.

Thing is although the menu is now enabled in the mobile phone, I can't seem to pick any styles because the only pattern available is (off).

Am I missing something? Do I need to upload something to /c/mobile/audio?

As for patching/flashing/flexing the phone, I've duefully made a complete 32MB SHX backup (made in registered copy of flash + backup 3) so if you would like a copy on the forum let me know - its branded to Virgin Mobile (UK) - GSM Network ID: 234-30. I admit I'm not brave enough to flash/flex a new monsterpack onto the phone - yet - as it works I'll keep the current software lol...

you need to upload this Funlight.pat to c\mobile\audio,
i hate the Virgin Mobile Branding Too

Yeah, you're missing something. You need to upload the funlight to c/mobile/audio. Download it here. We also have a guide to enable all the funlights.

Yes, it would be awesome if you could upload it for us!
Please inlcude some information about it. The complete S/W version, Language Pack etc etc. All this could be found in menu, settings, phone status, software information. Or by pressing *#9999#.

Also you mentioned that it is branded to Virgin, is it also locked to virgin ?

Cheers guys. I'll try uploading the funlights thing to the phone and see if it now works, as for the clublights thing all the ticks are set correctly in the boxes, I made a few mistakes and ended up now being able to read my SMS messages which was fun lol.

As for the software, here's a few details:
L6

Virgin Mobile, not sure if its locked, I haven't yet got the spare Orange SIM to test with this phone. I guess if I see the Subsidy code appear I'll know its not unlocked, and I'll ring Virgin mobile and get the Subsidy code. I need to see if that old SIM is around first tho lol.

Bootloader: After pressing */# and power it read version 08.D0

my L6 was virgin branded. not as bad as Orange though! i just flashed a stock L6 firmware and its all gone.

Oh forgot to mention my firmware is Virgin Mobile SIM locked, so I need a subsidy code to use any other type of non-Virgin SIM in it

Still there is this new tool, which claims to unlock the L6 I saw today, so I'll give it a whirl. Wonder if doing this will convert the L6 firmware to unlocked firmware?

OK I know I'm full of questions today, so before you shoot me lol, one last question...

I've checked my original locked Virgin Mobile monsterpack, and most I've seen in the downloads section of the forum are about 12-14MB SHX files...

Well mine is er, 70MB, SHX file... I dare not attempt to flash with RSD Lite 2.7 to see if it works, because my phone works at the moment lol and I don't want to hose an xmas present lmao.
