Need Assitance on skin creation on L6

I want to learn how to do skins and schemes:
I already created the icons for the skin with the sizes 25x25, and when selected sizes 29x29, but the problem is that using "p2kmenu editor 2.3 beta mod #1" it does not allow me to connect to the phone when I click "open menu"-->"open from phone". It displays me a message error even thou the green light its on below.

Can someone tell me why it happens, what should I do, How can I do it. If someone can help me on this I'll apreciate.

you cannot open the mma_ucp from your phone directly. follow these steps:
1.download mmaconvert and p2kmenueditor from the downloads section.
2.open mmaconvert and select ur mma_ucp.click convert and save it . . . u may replace the original if u have backups!
3.now u can open ur converted mma_ucp in p2kmenuditor!
4.after uv messed with ur mma_ucp with the menueditor, next step is to convert it back to the original format for ur phone.
5.open the converted and edited mma_ucp in mmaconvert.now check the only option available(in some language i dont kno and i dont remember the words too, but its the only option available). now click convert again and save it as mma_ucp!
6. upload it to ur phone and ur done !

a much better option is to download mma advanced editor as it can work directly with the L6 mma_ucp file - and directly on the phone as well.

The older version Menu-editor you are trying to use was not written for the L6 and thats why the editor had to be created.

dats exactlt what happened with me....try following the steps in ma earlier post....i have made a couple of skins using the above guidelines !
