Getting rid of that annoying Sidebar on the main menu

Thank you very much for creating a site for Mac Users. The site is great!

I thought I would kick things off in this Slvr L6/L2 space by asking how the feck do I get rid of the annoying Sidebar in the main menu of my L6. I know the answer lies somewhere around the internet, but I thought I would ask for your help as no one has posted here before :grin: .

Thanks for making a beautiful mod site for all users. One last question: Where do I put the Skin files if my L6 does not contain a "skin" folder?

oh skins, the l6 does not have them, it has color schemes . . . .

===============[Skinning Issue 01]

I'm having an issue with the skins actually (small issue, but yeah, still - it's an issue

Here's a brief explanation:
Whenever i navigate through the main menu (3x3, thus 9 menus), the top label like 'Messages', 'Tools', and etc keep splashing on top for few ms..it's annoying (duh~). Feel free to sumbit a solution for that (totally remove it)

Ok, hope this will thread will be a helpful one, to all L6 users out there..and others (generally, where it fits in). Connectivity guide for L6 is already out there, so a skinning guide for L6 would be a great follow up..i'll work on it later (soon enough), and contributors are welcomed Thats it for now, lets get it on!

Yeah I downloaded colour scheme but where do I put it? In A or C? and inside which file since "skins" doesn't exist? I tried settings but it didn't work when I reset my phone. I can easily change the wallpaper but I want to see the entire wallpaper without the crap blocking it. Eg. the side menu bar. Thank you so much for your help, but I fear it won't be able to be done.

To get rid of the sidebar, just uninstall the Java App. :shoot: :shot:

Sorry, but I have no idea which java app you're refering to. I've deleted all my java apps and still the menu lives!!! Oh well thanks for trying.

A = Installation/application manual is in the README text file. Just do a backup of your mma_ucp (as in /a/mobile/system) to get back your old menu

and for the sidebar how bout menu->settings->personalize->home screen->home keys->icons->hide

I deleted that mma_ucp file (don't worry I backed it up). Reset my phone and the menu is still there. Anyway, here is a link to a message board that has my problems in detail.

It contains all the info you need to help me. All my problems are the same as this guy, but I have a mac so I use Moto4Lin to mod my phone. He seems to have solved his menu problem but I can't because I have a mac. Thanks for your help you guys. If we can solve this I'll buy you a beer!

P.S. I can't find the synerJ java app in my file systems anywhere!!!!!!!!!
