Flashing V3re w/files that have differences

    Hi,
    Question from a noob.
I want to flash a file to my V3re that is intended for SW Version
R3442A_G_0E.43.25R but my SW version is R3442A_G_0E.43.04_A

The file is an MP file:
    R3442A_G_0E.43.25R_PDS003_LP0003_DRM0101_JPJAVA_G_ 0E_R3442A_01_00_01R_GSTRAZR06DST01NA11A_1FF.sbf
    Retail North American unbranded

Will this make a difference? I'm not keen on bricking my phone!
    Appreciate any help on this!

this is the wrong section for your question, but i may be able to help you anyway

im pretty sure all 3442A MP's are compatible. fortunately, the v3re is a ROM based phone, so bricking is rather difficult to do because the securities are held in an unaccessable part of the mobo(which is why there is no free unlock procedure yet)
If you have a FULL backup of the phone, then unbricking should only consist of flashing the backup.

having said that... make a full backup, then go ahead and flash the MP you want
