Icons freezing

OK, i created my icons and pasted them directly into the drm, on the phone's main menu they work well, but on the directional pad on the home screen, once i push any direction the icon appears but it freezes and doesn't open the application. HELP PLEASE

There're two kinds of icons for drm and their size can not be changed.

1- Non animated icons = 49x49 size and gif format.
2- Animated icons = 57x57 and gif format

Animated icons should be at least with 2 frames to be identified as animated. So you'll need to animate them with at least 2 frames and size them to 57x57

So I should make my icons with two frames. OK, i can do that.

ok, nothing worked, I added more frames, the icons do appear in the main menu but they still freeze on the homescreen using the directional pad.

Then the directional icons are not part of the DRM but your skin. Change the skin and try or make the icons in the skin animated.
