Guide : Step by Step DRM Creation

Hey all,

This is a simple and step by step guide for those who wants to create own drm. It's universal for all P2K 240x320 phones.

This will be usefull if you don't want to browse 2000 files, Drm map for V6Maxx by kent lkc.


-Tools needed-

* SBF Recalc 1.24
* 3G Drm Tool 1.0
* Any image editing software.
* Drm flash file with *.sbf or *.shx extension which works and flashes flawlessy with your phone. For example if you have a V6Maxx with R26111VL fw, You'll need to base on a R26111VL drm. If you don't have any drm flash available for your phone, create a backup using f&b 3.07 with the correct profiles.


Steps

1-Copy the base drm into a new folder at desktop.



2-Start SBF ReCalc 1.2.4
3-Click Open flash file and select your stock *.sbf or *.shx drm file.



4-Click Split flash file. Sbf recalc will create new files in your drm folder.



5-Close SBF ReCalc.
6-Start 3G Drm Tool 1.0 and click Extract gif from DRM and select the CG15.smg



7-A new folder Gif-Folder (CG15) will be created in your drm folder.
8-Browse that folder and edit / change the gif files with your desired ones.
9-Note that you should respect the image size and file format of each file which you edit/replace.
10-When you finish editing your graphics, click Create new DRM



11-Select your CG15.smg
12-New modded cg15 will be created succesfully with Created DRM - CG15.smg file name.
13-Close 3G Drm, we don't need it anymore.
14-Delete the *.CG15.bak from the folder.
15-Start Sbf ReCalc 1.2.4, Click Open CG-Folder and point your drm folder.



16-Sbf ReCalc should list 3 files ; *.hmg, *-RAMDLD.smg and Created DRM - CG15.smg
17-Click ReCalc checksum, you will see " Calculate Checksum ......done. "
18-Click Create sbf file, you will see " Creating sbf file..... done. "



19-Your new drm flash file will be created in SBF-FlashFile folder inside your drm folder.
20-It's ready for flashing.


Note that ; I don't take any responsibility if you do something wrong and mess things. This's the easiest way to port or create any drm flash. Hope to see new creations from members. You're free post to post the guide anywhere as long as you credit me.

come to fid out i couldnt use 3G-DRM_1.0 i could only use DRM Port for my v3xx!!

i've just installed rsd lite version 2.7 and add some drm icon set which i've downloaded from web and i've clicked start, the software just doing the process of installing icons,and at last it asked to reboot the phone manually (my phone is motorola razr v3i) and when i press power button it doesn't boot...what is the problem.......plz..plz help me with this problem

thx i have changed the drn of my v9 today its fantastic now but i havnt found anywhere the symbol for software update if any one can show me it would be fine
