It is a cingular branded l7 Slvr with boot loader 0A.20; and my s/w version is R4517_G-08.C4.1ER. Ive already downloaded a bounch of DRM icon sets and they arent compatable.

any of them that have a black backround in the screenshot have been flashed to my r4517 l7 no problem. did you unarchive the files and then flash with rsd lite?

You'll need to flash the .shx file using the method detailed here. Again make sure you have uncompressed the file you downloaded--it should be an .shx file.

Yes i did follow the guide and i did uncompress the file to a .shx file. I even renamed it to drm.shx, and still i get to 100% the i get an error message 84.

Ah the 84 error message is something the developer of the flasher program is working on. At the moment there is no known way around it other than to jump on your Windows box.

ok, i see. Do you happen to know how long they have been trying to fix it and maybe when its going to be done?

Been months... still no significant breaks. So far we can't figure out what specifically is causing it, it appears to be random although we know its not.

i also got the same problem when i'm flashing any drm icons. specially when i edit some of them. the one's only working for me is the original drm. i hope you guys could inform us if the man from the flasher is done fixing the error 84 thing. thank you!

No he hasn't. He is not someone we know personally, and I am unsure as to whether he is actively updating Flasher or not...
