DRM Porting

Hi guys, I've used DrmPort for editing DRMs made for my V9, but can someone please explain to me how to use it, to port a DRM from another phone type, to a DRM for my V9? Thanks.

basicly just edit them both

open the drm with drmport and copy the icons/images
then open the new drm and copy those images to that and save

note that not all phones have the same numbering in the drm and have different dimensions

I'd reccomend using 3g drm tool it's pretty self explanatory and faster

Thanks guys, after making the post I fooled around with DrmPort and figured it out. Unchecked the Edit only option, and opened the "To" Drm then the "From Drm", checked the icon structures and clicked on Port, then saved to new file. The resulting .shx file was a little smaller, but I figured that as long as it wasn't bigger, it should flash ok. And it was ok.

I was porting a Drm from Older Euro V9, to Newer Euro V9 Drm, so the differences were minimal. The newer had an extra 6 icons.

@Clarkey, I'll try using 3gDrm next time and compare. It just means I have to get the Drms into Smg format first.
