    Porting to V3xxR_j

Well, I had a V3xx, and it shut down like a month ago. I called At&t, and they sent me a new phone, which happens to be a V3xxR_j with firmware R272311_U_97.04.30R. I want to port my V3xx DRM over, but was told that I need to rename every single V3xx files {001 (size x size).gif** to the V3xxR_j names (1.gif). So, do I really need to rename every single file? I checked this out
    http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=280121
but this always requires me to rename and replace the files...Is there any other way to port from V3xx to V3xxR_j??? Thanks

use drmport 0.4, no renaming of gif files needed.

So, instead of replacing the gif files in the binary folders, I just delete the original Icons and put in the icons from my V3xx?
These are the steps I am doing:
    1. Run DRM port, open the V3xxr_j CG15, decompile
    2. Go to Binary 1, delete all the icons in the folder, move V3xx icons in
    3. Go to Binary 2, delete all the icons in the folder, move icons from Binary 1 into folder
    4. Run DRM port, click port
    5. Go to Save as, click Save
    6. Then it gives me an I/O error...

So, am I doing anything wrong???

hmmmm no matter how many times I do it, I keep getting the same error...

    I normally open the drm,
Replace the icons from the binary1 folder,
Then open drmport again and click save as and choose the file I had just split.

Can you possibly make a step by step guide for porting a V3xx DRM pack to a V3xxR_J?
These are the things I have
    1. CG15 of the V3xx DRM
    2. DRM Port program
    3. A folder named Gif-Folder (CG15) with the gifs I extracted from the V3xx DRM (extracted with 3G DRM)

I extracted the DRM from the V3xx DRM so that I can replace the DRMs.
    Thanks! Much appreciated

    Ok follow this exactly.
    -Open drmport,
    -Open the drm.shx
-Wait till it extracts the icons
-When its done go to the binary 1 folder > icons
-Copy the icons to a new folder on the desktop

    -Open drmport
    -Click reset
-Open the new drm you want to port to
-Wait till it extracts the icons
-When its done go to the binary 1 folder > icons
-Replace the icons with the ones copied earlier to the desktop
    -Open drmport
-Click save as and browse to the last drm you extracted from.(The one you are porting to)
    -Wait for it to finish
