Reduce the size of CG15

Im working on a new DRM, and i can put all my icons in it. the size of CG15 is bigger that the appropriate.

1) is there any way that the size of CG15 is reduced so i can put larger in size icons in it?

3) in Z3 what icons are used/not used so i can put them blank.

You answered your 2nd question with your first, only way to reduce size is by replacing/editing the unused/larger gifs with smaller size ones (smaller kb, not dimensions) or by editing them to be all white or transparent.

I'm not saying that these are or are not used for Z3, i'm just saying that these are most of the ones I have set to blank and I have yet to come across these icons in my phone (and I've been trying).
