REQUEST: Galaga DRM

I know that this will seem weird, but I'd LOVE an old school, circa 1980's Galage DRM.

Any takers? I'd try it myself, but I'd just be able to make the little icons. Not really make them work (mac user here)... Or, a collective effort?

If you can get the gifs for it, someone can pack it into a DRM. As long as they're the right size.

ok, so in the first walkthrough, there's discussion of the mask... Let's say that I have an idea for an icon (take for example 3 of the ships, side by side for the battery level indicator), can I just make the one image, and multiple masks? in the case of my example, 6 masks, each revealing more of the ships...

Possible?

Yup. but you must still copy that original image at least to have the new numbers and names. In fact a lot of DRMs are done that way.

k, that's kinda what I was thinking.

One thing on my mind. in the second link, the battery icon (inside) is listed as 313-320. Care to break that one down for little old me? I know that 313 is empty battery, should I just assume that it's logical to have 314 be a sliver of power, all the way up to full with 320? Or is it more complex than that?

ok, and are the charging icons in there somewhere too? I can't see them on that list... Kinda weird that someone would go to ALL the trouble of making that list, and leave out the most modd-able ones... Or at least lump them like "everyone" knows what the hell is in that lumping... yeesh... :P

Oh I dunno someone will have to chime in... I'm spacing right now, mine just goes through the different battery strengths as it charges.
