Please Help Serious Issue

okay I found out that I also need a flex ribbon for my phone I found a LCD flex ribbon for a V9 even though my phone is a V8 I wanted to know if the V9 lcd flex ribbon will work with a V8. I ask this question because the new LCD screen I just bought was able to work with both the V8 and V9 series.
