    Fried turkey for thanksgiving?

Hey guys, Im in the market for a turkey fryer, and was wondering...any tips? I've eaten fried turkey many times, but have never fried one myself... Any suggestions on a good fryer? Frying tips?

it's the best. I got mine from cabellas catalogue.. cook time is 3mins per lb, and I would use Peanut Oil. not greasy at all. Smart and final has it. So, you put the bird in the fryer, add water a couple inches from the top. Take the bird out and mark your water line. That's how much oil you'll need. Keep in mind it will boil quite a bit... Oh man your gonna LOVE IT!!!
