Many people from m3 know me. I had the highest BST rating in the forum and I am a very trust-able and respectable guy, I have come to know very many people on this forum from my almost 3 yrs of "membership" but their is just something that I need to address about how some situations were handled, but keep in mind I am trying to stay neutral on this and just tell it as it is...


Once the site was transformed into what it is today, I lost my "Thelaxplaya7" account and could not login

I posted a thread saying that I couldn't login...Cody replied with a link saying I needed to post in another thread about it and immediately closed my original thread. To me, the link provided didn't seem to fit what my concern was, so I posted another thread saying that it didn't fit my criteria yada yada. He said something again and then closed that thread...

I then posted in that thread titled "Lost your post count?" and waited a week...

Week goes by and nothing...so I pm'd kyle and he seemed to "fix" my account after a little hesitation, except someone changed my custom title to "whiner" so I then pm'd him again and told him I want my custom title I earned back.

he changed it back to what I had which was..."modding just comes natural" but then about a day after that someone seemed to change it back to "whiner" (which they havent changed back even after a PM regarding it)

This is all apparently because I was just trying to get my 3k+ posts back and everything back with my account I earned... Now I'm not gonna bash everyone but I don't think I was treated in any respectable way, what do you think?

actually I dont care about the color, its the fact that you guys seem to be toying with me and think its funny, meanwhile I haven't done anything to give you reasons too, Ive been pretty loyal and I thought you of all people SJ might actually consider changing my title considering the fact that I've dealt with you and offered a good deal and didnt screw you over or anything but I guess that doesn't seem to matter at all.

Some mod could just change my title and be done with this but apparently you guys dont mind knowing how your doing all this to someone whos been around for a long time.

So far it seems that SJ, Cody, Kyle, Danation, and Skrilax_CZ all have a grudge against me?? I didnt even do anything to them.

First to say, you were not the only one with such case with having account imported from MMG, instead of M3. Second, Cody told you what to do and yet you went and created another thread and also posted it into another except the thread you were supposed to. I think it was a bit spoken about in the "fix post count thread". I haven't seen others to do the same as you did. Your account still needs fixing and mentioning admins "to seem to have a grudge" isn't a very good approach, is it?

with all due respect to all parties involved, i think its going a bit too far. you are acting like those bullies in school. dont know whats making you do so. he may just have posted in the wrong place but really, u dont need to victimize him. a lot of people post in the wrong place. u should take it like mature men, instead of making him your therapy treatment.

PS: @TLP we all have lost the BST rating, so u just have to be patient. if you really think u are respectable, u should not worried about just a statistic. I lost mine too, every-one did. its just a badge.

PS2: In a way every-one is responsible for their own downfall. Cuz you cant clap with two hands. but its a problem if the clapping doesnt stop.

here's how i feel about it. i understand your concern and your frustration. but you also have to remember that merging 2 sites into one is not an easy task. especially when you have people that are members of both individually with the same user name. as stated before, you are not the only one who had this issue. but you WERE the only one who complained and complained and complained some more. so, while i don't want to bash you (you have contributed a lot to this site after all), still find it annoying that you couldn't be patient. did i change your name? no, i don't have that power. do i know who did? no. but i can say that when i was modding the z3, i pointed countless people to your mp. i have given you thanks in every thread i could. and yet still there was a time i made a joking comment (which actually wasn't even directed at you) in the general forum and you replied pretty rudely about me not knowing what i was talking about. (even though everyone else seemed to understand i was kidding) then once i explained i was kidding, you replied with something along the lines of "well i didn't find it funny". so i have to say this is not the first time i have seen you be snippy and "impatient" so to speak. things like this in a forum setting tend to stick with people. the written word is often stronger than the spoken. anyway, that was off the subject a little, but i just want you to keep in mind that i may not be the only person you have rubbed the wrong way in the past. things like that can come back to bite you. i'm not saying being "vengeful" is the right way to handle things, just saying that it happens. that was my 20 cents worth.

p.s. i'm not holding a grudge, just illustrating that sometimes saying unnecessary things is not the best course of action. especially in a setting where you "peers" may some day be put in a position of relative power.

Ya, merging is not an easy task, esp when one of us pretty much has done this while he was in the hospital, with many personal turmoils, staying up till 2 and using the hospital wireless, gettign blocked a few times.I know lots of things havent been fixed, and im worried/anxious to get things back on track. but everyone has a life, no one is a full-time paid employee. I suggest you take a vacation, let things cool down here. I also suggest other members involved in this prank to call it quits. We all had a laugh, it felt good. move on, grow a pair. just want to clarify that im acting in fairness, i have no grudge or doft-corners here.

this is the most important piece to all of this in my opinion. if you post here and help people here, it should be because it's something you enjoy. not because you want to get a high thanks count and a high post count to show off and say "look how great i am". honestly i think too many people concern themselves with these things, when that's not why we should be here doing this. bragging rights is not what it's about. we all know you and know what you have done here. if the new people don't see the numbers for a few weeks, i really don't get why it's a big deal.

NONE of us are paid to do what we do. we do it because we love it. so it frustrates and annoys us when drama like this pops up. and although we are "staff", we are still human beings. yes, we like to think we are above all of this. but in reality we are no different than everyone else here. if you poke sticks at us long enough, our instincts are to bite.

First of all I've never intended to offend anyone, I may have gotten a little impatient but my very first post was basiclly closed right up and I felt that it didn't really matter and there was no point. I did lose my post count but it was more then that, I couldn't even login and I didnt see anything mentioning that and thats why I got frustrated because I didnt see anything about accounts not working. I waited more then a week at one point after posting in that thread and nothing changed, so at that point I got annoyed and pm'ed kyle I beleive and then he didn't seem to care, which really made me mad considering I brought it to their attention before. I understand this [site] is all supported by the mods/admins and we should be glad about this site (which I am) I love modding phones, and I even got a job as a tech for VZW because of it so I'm hoping I can contribute to that, I just wish someone could change it back and move on with things.

I guess post count can be important but really it's just a bunch of numbers.

Think of it this way. For some stupid reason on another site I had a feedback thread that shows the number of successful transactions I've done on that site. I've had a high number for awhile and that site did a server upgrade that nuked my feedbacks. I went straight back to zero. But even without the feedback page, the people on a forum that know who you are won't really care how ever billion posts or feedbacks you got b/c they know you're good for it.

So those that know who you are here.... are post numbers that important?

I don't give Custom Titles to people that I hold a grudge against, do I? I didn't have anything to do with this. You've been dealing with the owners and I didn't want to step in.

But after all, I do feel that this has gone a bit too far. But... lesson learned, right? Don't whine... Everyone knows who you are, you don't need numbers to prove that. Your custom title has been set to default. I can't remember what your custom title was... PM me and I'll give it back to you.
