Installing Fonts

Hi guys, Now when I'm, ready to change the Font on my V9, I find plenty on guides for creating fonts, but all I want to do is install a font from the downloads section. But, the problem is that the font I want, (Designer Font V9 LP0055 aka ATT, telstra), is not compatible with Euro V9. How can I make it compatible for my phone? Also, does it matter whether I use a branded or unbranded font? My phone is locked to 3 Aust.

the cg4 isnt firmware specific, as long as its for v9 it will work

I guess my concern is that the Font CG4 start and end address matches the RazrV9 FB3 profile, but my Euro V9's profile is V9 Newer, which has a different start and end address. Won't flashing that screw up my phone? If so can it be ported or something?

Too be honest, I'm 90% sure that this will work, after all the fonts work on my Z9 and they're not even close. Just backup your orginal CG4, flash the font in flash and backup but use the f/w tab to change the loader to the euro v9 loader.

I tried what you said, changed loader but was unsuccessful. Perhaps I need to extract the fonts from the two lang pack and swap them over, reassemble it and then try to flash it. Anyway, I'll try it tomorrow now.

I'll tell you what, To make up for my error, link me to your CG4 and the ttf of the font you want made and I'll make it for you.

Thanks. I'm not sure what the ttf is of the new font, so I've included the new font CG4 as well. Here you go. Designer Font is the new one I want to flash.
