What's MotoDesk?
It's an app that starts over the system, it's allways on and totally chage the phone main screen appareance.

MotoDesk Options:
- Icons bar (Known as iLaunch from E2)
- Automatic wallpaper change (wallchanger)
- See system process on main screen
- See notes on main screen (zNotepad is needed "soon")
- Interactive wallpaper
- Bluetooth en el menu de opciones
- .gif support for wallpaper
- => key: pressed closes Motodesk.

Its nice.
But i cant view 'buttons' in the customize settings of motodesk.
Any particular font needed for that ?
And how to apply new skins to it ?
And also, the right and left soft key words are changing to 'default' while applying motodesk. (Default means changing to 'Options' And 'Menu')

1) what do you mean "But i cant view 'buttons'"??

2) i've been using the same font always and it still working well, remember it's a beta release so this problems must be fixed in the final version...

3) to apply new skins go to (in main screen), Options>Customize>Wallpaper>Wallpaper Style, and change to "Wallpaper Clock", so a new option should appear below called "Theme" go there and change it... for installing new skins put them in /motodesk/screen/...

4) Yes, do you have other options there??

By 'buttons' font<- solved myself. Now, when i apply motodesk, and try to view it in main screen, it doesnt show up. maybe a little bug.
Skin problem, fixed before. Didnt update. sorry for that.

Yes, i have other options/words written there.

Will wait for the Final release.

ONE MORE THINg
Whenever the Gallery button is pressed, the 'right' direction button containing the shortcuts always pops up.
Example--- If right direction button is "messages". Then while gallery button is pressed, messages opens up.
Its quite annoying to me.

the problem is that in the shortcut on Option>Customize>Buttons>Voice Button uses the gallery button (no voice button on zn5) and that shortcut can't be disabled in this release maybe in the final release...

It really needs Font support its even hard to read the font.. The application would be great if there would be a font options support...

as far as i know these files (settings.chf iconres.ezx) are skins files for z6 so they won't work on on motodesk or zn5...

Eheheh guys I solved the issue

you can change the color and the size of the font by adding:
Color1 = xxxx
Color2 = -1

lines under the desired section of the settings.cfg file )

(only copy the "decimal" code

Bugs I found: When motodesk is active.

1-When you switch to vibrate and turn back to "ring only" phone actually never turns back to ring. You have to go "profiles" and increase the sound volume again.

2-when tapping the initial letters on quick access of a contact for example: John, you tap 564
this feature just don't work when motodesk is active

3-When receiving a text message or a missed call; As you know there is a notification on screen "missed call from John" or "new message from John". This indication just don't work when motodesk is active. I was loving this feature.

Contrary I found this application visually very essential

Couple of things i noticed is that if you add "Message Composer" as an icon to the main screen that it doesn't work.

Elements to the customization that hasnt been mentioned yet is the menu text when you want to add/delete or re-order your icons and other menus within.
The "Re-Order" option is there but the other two options' text appears to be invisible.

Also...

Is there a setting that could be added to make the clock show a 12-Hour time versus 24-Hour? eg... HTC Hero Theme only shows 24 Hour clock

And...

Could this app be optionally set by default to startup automatically from Power-on? Versus opening mgxbox everytime i want it to show up.

Overall This app is awesome and i can't wait for the final version. Keep up the great work.
