I have a moto slvr l7c and the backlight kept lighting up on it's own randomly. So I did a master reset and then set the backlight to 20 seconds and the display timeout to off and for some reason the display would go off with the backlight after 20 seconds. I liked this setup but when I did a master clear recently it wont do that anymore. The display timeout does what its suppose to do, off=always on, 1 min=1min and so on. My problem is that I want the display light to go off when the backlight does after 20 seconds. Even when my phone was charging the screen would go dark after 20 seconds. Is there any way to get it back that way? I have no mods and tried everything.
