Metro PCS Motorola Ve240

When receiving an incoming call from a contact in my phone book, the screen displays the caller id name and number and not the contact name in the phone book. The name of the person that the phone is registered in and number shows up. If the name is short the contact name will show after the registered name. Usually the registered name is long and both the registered name and contact name cannot fit on the screen. How can I change it so only the phone book name shows up when a contact calls.
