I can't handle MediaViewer

I have the stock R3511... I needed fullscreen photos and I succesfully installed MediaViewer via MOtorola Midlets Manager v0.62.1YEAR but I can't find it in any menu on the phone... What did I do wrong or how should I install this application?

you have to make a shortcut of it. change the attributes of MediaViewer in the MotoMidMan as a background then restart your phone. make a shortcut. then change its attributes again to corelet and restart phone. you can access it only through a shortcut.

Well i tried to install it that way ( motomidman ->miedlet ->shortcut-> corelet background) but after restart it doesnt work any way. So i dont have it. but phone manager is pretty useful.

after you made the shortcut, delete it restart phone and install it again.

So here is step by step instruction:

1. Install Media viewer
2. Uncheck corelet box
3. Restart phone
4. Assign shortcut to mediaviewer applet in "Games and apps" directory
5. Delete MV files (without deleting shortcut)
6. Restart
7. Install MV again and set it as Background

Be sure to know that corelets aren't currently working on the R3517 firmware.

so was he on the right track? well i want to have both iTunes and media viewer installed but i need to be pointed in the right directions

Hey i tried to install both corelets (iT and MV) and it worked. Look into this thread :

You need to upload modified seem 0002_0005.seem to your phone after installation... (Before make min. 5 shortcuts 1-4 and for example 6 (#5 for media viewer) and restart the phone. Now if you press menu + 5 MV will run. Remeber to backup your original 0002_0005.seem.

i removed the RSA protection from my v3i...
made the shortcut for mediaviewer.. then checked the corelet and the background thing.. but it stil doesnt work..
i hv v3i R47A.. with i tunes..
i need the mediaviewer for transferring java apps thru Buetooth

Well i think you need to have unload option in itunes to run mediaviewer, because only one corelet can run at time... so try too look for version of itunes with unload and then install mediaviewer. When you want mediaviwer just press unload itunes.
