Make UR E2 QUADBAND

Thanks to Imahottguy now we can make our baby rokr get quadband

follow this:

You´ll need RADIOCOMM! this is warez software... just gioogle it its easy to find

1.- Open radiocomm program
2.- Connect your Phone in Modem mode Mainmenu/Settings/Connection/USB Setting/Modem
3.- Go to 'GSM2' Tab click on it
4.- There will be four fields Right down the tab, enter on that fields the next numbers in this order
0032
0001
0050
0001
5.- Press “RDELEM” with this we´re going to read that part of the seem!
6.- You´ll get a 3A text... change it to 3B
7.- Press “STELEM” with this one we´re going to write the seem we modded
8.- Restart the fone

Now in order to change the "technology" text from “Tri-Band” to “QuadBand” do the next

follow the same of the first mod... open radiocom and open gsm2 tab
1.- Change the fields to:
0171
0001
0000
0008
2.- make it read the seem with RDLEM
3.- YOU´LL GET THIS STRING “005400720069002D”
4.- change it to “0051007500610064”
5.- Restart, the fone and check it

0001
2.- make it read the seem with RDLEM
3.- YOU´LL GET THIS STRING “09”
4.- change it to “0B”
type in the 3rd and 4th field:

5.- click STLEM
6.- Restart, the fone and check it

IT NOT JUST WRITE QUADBAND, IT MAKES QUADBAND!!!!

well i guess telcel works on 850/1900 mhz... sooo if rokr used to have one of those disabled... now it would improve reception... for me it did... try it and tell me about it

I can't make the radiocomm read the seem It said
Sending 'RDELEM' command with data '0032000100500001' to the radio...
Sent to radio: 410200000800100000000020000800000032000100500001
Returned from radio:
RDELEM ==>FAILED
Driver answer ==> 267
Time to execute command: 0 seconds.
Command timeout set to : 15 seconds.

did u correctly installed the drivers?

make sure they´re try reinstalling them and... remember the fone must be on DATA/FAX conection

I use another computer and it works thx for helping

i tried it, but it gave just the name quadband and add the 850/1900 band, i tried to set manually the 850band, and try other ways and didnt work, so i decide to modify other seem with radiocomm (i did it cause i worked with p2k phones too.) i edited the 0025_0001.seem.

here how i did it.... (it worked fine with 850)

I got this:

&yes I installed my drivers properly according to the Guide section. Anything else?

Updated: YOu know in RadioComm v11.0.3 in front they ask you for something at the drop box section at the begining. What do I choose?

well, i did it this way but it still says tri-band.
radiocomm reported my read and write as successful
