The one beta2 VS. 41P8
what firmware are you using? why?
- 05-11-2007, 10:27 AM #2
The one Beta2, because of the nifty backup utilities it has for backing up text messages, phonebook, etc etc. The fact it supports ext3 file system which is alot more efficient then FAT, and can handle the SD card being partitioned and puts the SWAP file on the ext3 partition, which I see a speed difference as well, and benchmark scores for me when up about 10 points as well, and its one of the faster F\W's out there for the E2. Plus, if you overclock the E2, then its just God-Like, I almost get a 700 score on Matrax benchmark, oppose to the 630-650ish scores I use to get.

Nope, no bugs as from what I can see in the fw, it has worked perfectly for me honestly! The guide for overclocking the E2 is posted on E2mod.com . For the one beta2 you need to create the startup_test.txt in the directory it talking about. I love the overclock! The only down side, is, of course, shorter battery life, but not by to much from what I can tell, its only bad if you play alot of games, or movies for great periods of time. The overclock keeps the cpu at 416Mhz at all times.

The playlist for me works fine, I only had a problem listening to the playlist with my bluetooth stereo ht820 headset, and play DOOMRPG on my phone. Other then that, it was smooth for me.
