Hey adriano tenks 4 your work its pretty awesome, but if you dont mind i have a questions 4 ya:
how can i change the volume sound when i plug on the phone to the computer cuz its kinda louder. i have the system sound in 0 and still no change
and this a suggestion for your next release:
is it posible that the video quality gets better, i mean that the size of every pic taken from the cam gets bigger. Zis could be really nice even if the video file size gets bigger too.
tenks man, keep going on...

Changing sound when connecting usb cable?
I recently installed the Katze3 firmware. Very nice! I used to like the Rokr E2, now I love it!
But I also find the sound that plays when connecting/disconnecting my Rokr E2 to a USB cable very loud. My coworkers are starting to complain.
Looking around the folders when telneting to the phone, it seems the sound that is played is /usr/SYSqtapp/setup/soundfile/Charger.wav.
I attempted to copy a new file to that filename using the cp command in the telnet session and also using Explorer, but both give me an permission denied error (or something similar). Is there a way to change this file to have a quieter sound?
Cheers!

There isn't any way possible. Try going to phone settings to see if you can reduce it.
For decreasing the volume in any case be it speakers or earphones, look for this .mpkg file called volmodder. Find it on e2mod or motohell or modmymoto.....just adjust the numbers, it's kinda foolproof

volmodder not working
I downloaded volmodder.mpkg,
- copyied it to my SD card
- installed it by clicking on the file in the phone's file manager
- selected install to phone
- install progress bar displayed then finished
- now have a volmodder icon on the phones main menu
- clicking the icon enters a nice program that displays the volume table file and allows editing of severl values. Very nice!
- selecting any of the values always displays the value 16
- able to modify the values by pressing up or down on the phone's joystick
- press the ok button (or joystick0 to dismiss the dialog. Get a message to reboot phone to have changes take effect.
- selecting Yes to reboot has no effect.
- selecting reboot from the volmodder menu has no effect.
- rebooting phone manually or from the M3 Tweaks menu icon reboots the phone, but the volume settings have not changed.
- all volume values are still 16
- returning to edit any of the values after changing them from 16 to any other value always displays 16 (with or without rebooting in between)
Did i miss a step? Any idea why volmodder has no effect for my phone?
I am using katze3 firmware.
Cheers!

I think u can try adjusting the level, do a phone refresh. If not just extract ezx_volumetable, adjust it using notepad on the computer and save it in MY_FAVOR folder in unrecognisable files and then reboot.

I set it to root and it seems to be working now.
it still displays 16 for all values when editing which confused me at first. Making changes seemed to have no effect on the percieved volume of sounds, although the values in the file were changed.
As an experiment, I changed all the values in the entire table to 0 in a text editor and then copied the file to the MY_FAVOR folder. The sounds are quieter now, but not much. The sound (reminds me a a submarine) when connecting as USB cable to the phone is still much louder than I would like. Also, the lowest volume when listening to music on the headphones is still to high. But it is much better.
Cheers!

The whole file (mmm... enchilda)
Yes, I put zeros in the entire file. There are now no other numbers. And I put it modified file into "unrecognized folder/my favor/"
It was an experiment that showed me how little changing the values results in lower (or higher) sound volume.
I would say the resulting volume for the USB connecting sound is at most 75% quieter now.
Cheers!
I have found a solution to my problem with the loud sound played when connecting a USB cable to my Rokr e2 (with K3 firmware).
I imagine that there is a better way to do it, but here is what I did:
- Put e2 into USBnet mode
- put replacement sound (connect.wav) into MY_FAVOR
- create startup.txt (shown below) into MY_FAVOR
#! /bin/bash
if [ -f /ezxlocal/download/mystuff/unKnown/My_FAVOR/connect.wav ]
thenmount --bind /ezxlocal/download/mystuff/unKnown/My_FAVOR/connect.wav /usr/SYSqtapp/phone/Device_Connect.wav
fi
- reboot e2
Now I have a very muted sound that does not disturb my office coworkers when I attach/detach a USB cable or detach a headphone to my e2.
I assume that a similar procedure could be used to replace (or add) just about any of the files on the phone. Cool!
