Updated/New GUI Mac Flasher program complete

I have a V3i R479_G_08.B5.3 Can I flash this using SHXflasher and if not what is my best alternative since I am on mac and have no pc access currently. I've tried to flash with SHX but currently it has done nothing.

Hey Guys,

First off noob here (to an extent)... but I got to say after searching for months on a way to breath new life into this here Cingular Razor V3, this may be the place!

I downloaded the flasher and opened it up... but I got to tell you I am scared as hell to go any foward because I can't find any instructions. Found a mention of them but no link.

The interface gives me directions as to when to plug in the usb cable etc.. but, I am unclear as to what is to come next. Does this software "Flash" "Install" or do what ever needs to be done automatically? No other software or firmware stuff that this flasher is supposed to install?

Sorry for the long post, but, I would just like to know if this is the "ALL U NEED" app with needing any other software etc.

All you need to do is find a monsterpack to flash to your phone. Otherwise SHXFlasher comes complete with everything you need. Please refer to the FAQ if you wish to learn more:

I have a Motorola V3x which has been unlocked by the network but still branded with Vodafone Uk Frameware which I wish the remove. and restore to Motorola Original frameware. I have downloaded Moto4in and managed to connect my V3x to my Mac. I have also Downloaded and installed Xcode/Libusb -01.12/flasher and everything work fine up to the last step. I cannot start my V3x in Boot loader mode by holding down * and # while you power on the phone simultaneously the phone just boot normally then if I enter the following commend.

Ok, so I tried apristels cingular modded MP, another one of his V3 MPs and I just tried a stock flexflash for the V3. Everytime it will get to 70 - 74% depending on which SHX file, then the phone says critical error 1337 510B, then it shuts off, i can turn it on and everything seems to work fine, but i am in japan so i dont know about calling. I am wanting to mod it so i can use a japanese carrier. I am stumped, could the phone being cingular prepaid have anything to do with it. Sorry for the question, I just need some assistance, thanks.

Edit: ok, so i was using files for firmware R374, i have R3442a, so i got a MP from here, it made it to 98% then the phone said Critical Error DEA1. its progress, i am going to try the stock MP that is in the downloads, hope fully more progress.

Hi.
I have an unlocked/unbranded VE66 and like the phone a lot. But, I can't sync with snow leopard macbook. Motorola tech support told me that Motorola was incompatible with Apple. I respectfully sent them the full metaclasses.plist file and asked that they simply look at the motorola phones already "approved" by Apple, and provide me, or Apple, the correct data for the VE66. It's been a while without any reply, so maybe they are working on it?

Anyway, what are the ways to:

1. Learn about modding my phone from my Mac for general appearance stuff;

2. Learn about adapting my Mac so that it will sync my contacts and calendar and iTunes with this phone?
