Macintosh flashing

Ok, so the search function won't let me search with keywords Macintosh, or OS X. So I pose my question (and accept the noob flaming I'm sure to receive)

I have an older PowerPC G4 laptop that I use, because I'm not rich like that, and was wondering if the GUI Flasher in the Mac section will work for the V8, or if I'm hosed for now and need to find someone with a PC whom I can bum some usage from.

Would really like to hear, "Sure use it it's fine" but I'm not holding my breath.

Just find a pc and flash it. It isn't so hard.
