Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, I apologize in advance if it is not. I have Renegade V950, purchased Motorola Phone Tools and upgraded to ver 5.10A, using Motorola's Handset USB driver_32_v3.7.0. I have not been able to get PC to recognize phone, after installing drivers, I plug in phone in and it says found new hardware Motorola V950, and then it come up with hardware device not recognized. Have tried this on both Windows XP and Vista. Anyone have any suggestions, I have done some searching and am unable to find anything on this.

    Thanks in advance.

I just purchased a V950 and data cable. I have tried many (and I mena many) different things to get this thing connected to my pc. I purchased MPT and upgraded to ver 5.13, I have also installed the latest drivers from Motorola ver 3.7. I have uninstalled both of these several times. When I connect phone to pc the phone lights up and says unable to charge, and MPT has not been able to find my phone. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but can someone PLEASE help me out. I have tried this all this on a vista pc and an XP pc. Just terying to add some pics, music, ringtones, and backup up contacts.

    Thanks in advance.

I kept having the same problem. I uninstalled MPT and did a search for all traces of MPT left on PC and deleted all. I re-enstalled but I installed the updates with the phone connect. It's a live update with phone attached. That did it for me if I recall correctly. Now if your wanting to use phone as modem, it's a whole diffrent ball game.
