Memory barriors on the EM326g

This is my first post and I hope this is the right location for this question.

I have searched the forum for the information, but could not find anything relevant.

I have an EM326g with a 2GB PNY MicroSD card installed.

The EM326g lists the Memory spaces as:

Phone Memory Total 9128KB
Memory Card Total 1920704KB
Java Space total ~1000KB (Not directly accessible, so this value is a guess)

I have installed and tried applications such as MobilePDF, jTextLite, and FileExplorer, but quickly came to realize that Java can only access it's own small memory area.

Is there a setting, patch, mod, or hack that would permit Java applications to access the MicroSD card's memory space ?
