Like some others in this forum (as far as I've seen) they've wanted to add a new language pack to their phones and have, like me, got the response from Motorola that the mobile was designed for the German market. That sucks.
I e-mailed them and they told me that the phone has the same software as the EX115. Can that be of any help in the process of you helping me? Like using a EX115 driver for this phone?
Because to even be able to flash the phone the first step is to install the drivers, and as far as I've experienced their MotoHelper program doesn't support the EX211 (Gleam), and neither does their standalone USB and PC charger drivers.
You can try this link - Smart Clip seems to have the only support for these phones at present. Their site seems to indicate the Moto MX/EX are related to Alcatel MTK Series, based on the PL2303 (Prolific) chip.
I don't understand how to install the drivers though. I installed the drivers but still RSD Lite won't recognize my phone, and in Task Manager EX211 has an exclamation mark next to it. And whenever I try to install similar drivers (like for the EX115 which I've read should be possible) it says that no drivers were found in the folder.
