R3443U2??? Anyone ever hear of?

I have a Tmobile supposed to be V3T - but it says that it is a R3443U2 not U5. I'd like to get rid of the Tmobile stuff, I got it unlocked and use my Cingular Simm with it... I got it cheap on EBay...
Help, pretty please...

Thanks very much, I appreciate it. I don't know why they (being TMobile) call the thing a V3t when it's actually a V3r. I'll check those forums from this point on... Thanks for setting me straight.

Keep in mind when referring to the V3R, that you should put the word "Cingular" V3R (R4515)? to keep someone from reading a post getting it mixed up with the "new" MyFaves V3 from T-Mobile that is referred to by the V3R (R3443U2) name as well!

On the Cingular V3R, you might really say it's the V3i with DAP, instead of Itunes.

(I don't have a Cingular V3R, but I think the Cingular V3R being more true to form than the bastardized V3T T-Mobile is selling. (I.E. that MyFaves crap)

BTW: Sounds like you may have Cingular V3R? (maybe the V3 bought off E-bay as a replacement?), If so what firmware is coming on that these days?

It is a "bastardized" Tmobile V3t, I don't know if it has DAP or not I haven't found the music program yet, I couldn't even find it in the manual. It has a video camera and digital camera that work half decent. It is the "Miami Ink" phone - I got it cheap on EBay and got it unlocked online. I have a Cingular Go phone account and that works for me, but I would like to get rid of the My Favs crap and the Tmobile Internet stuff because they keep text messaging me to put in a valid phone number and it's bugging me. The screen says

I really appreciate your help. If anyone wanted a backup of the thing before it is modified (keeping Tmobile junk in place) I'd be happy to help out if someone told me how to do it....

you can make one if you like makes sure to delete your messages and your dialled calls and recieved calls and personal pictures before backing up

unless you register flash and backup it won't really be good.. because it doesn't make a full backup
