I have a V3r Black, I'm located in Europe (Belgium)
BL 0a.52
s/w R4515_G_08.BD.B3R
Flex GSTRAZR05VFPRDE141-1.0.1C.3.2.2.0.42.I.0.2S.1G.0.0.0.3G.1S.2T.2Q
h/w CFWG1382DE

It looks like it's branded to Vodafone DE (Germany).

I'm having trouble getting setting up MMS and other specific things from my local provider (Proximus). It also looks like the "Network List" is completely full with all kinds of non local providers. I've tried to delete those and replace them with my local provider (through "available networks") which works fine. I could register with my provider and all but when I restart the phone the list gets populated with the old settings again. Is there any way I can get rid of those permanently ?
I am also looking to perhaps unbrand that phone and get a stock flie for it ... can anyone of you help me out with this please ?

Last Q: could I possibly use the "NightfallMPR4515" file (R4515_G_08.BD.D3R Unbranded) ?

I believe your S/W is R4515 and not R451, but your firmware, B3R, is sticky. Sorry but most likely you can only flash MPs with the same firmware. That doesn't mean you can't get rid of the branding. Its just a bit more work and more fun as well. Have a good look through our Guides annd you will find answers to most of your questions. It will take a while but I'm sure you will enjoy every mod you make to the phone until it is exactly like you want it. And then start to change it again, lol. If after study of the guides there are mor questions, just feel free to ask.

I went through the guides. It looks like the only way to get rid of the stuff I don't want/need is to flash with the same firmware but unbranded then, right ?

Does my s/w version have anything to do with anything then ?

OH yes! Be careful and always if your not sure ASK if it will work with your phone.

S/W has everything to do with everything! Make sure you check and make sure the S/W is correct or you will possibly BRICK your phone and we wouldn't want that.

You should load what you have not something else unless it says that you can load it to your S/W. I cannot load a R4515 on my R3443U2.... nor the other way around.

You could always just do the mods yourself. A MP is kind of extreme for what you want to do. Why not just delete the stuff you don't want yourself? Read the guides.. You will find all you need here.

Since I have a R3443U5 I'm not totally sure about the sticky firmware, Someone with an R4515 will come along and confirm for you.

you could try Nightfalls MP for R4515 with D3R on your B3r, but please make a full backup with FB3 first, the money to register the program is worth it. You don't have a backup of your cg2 (flex) otherwise, Would be nice to know if it might work, you definitely won't be able to flash an older firmware like 43R or else.

Okay ... your guides and info helped a lot. I got a Full backup of my phone through FB3 (using the guide).

I've made 2 backups and the have the .shx and .fb3 extention. I understand the .shx is the one most useful with RSD_lite. But how come the firmware posted are in the .sbf format then ?

And how exactly (what software ?) do you put that firmware on your phone ? Haven't found that guide ! Do I also use FB3 for that ?

I'll make sure to try the "NightfallMPR4515" file (R4515_G_08.BD.D3R Unbranded) and let you guys know but in case anything happens I will be able to put back the firmware/flex I've backed up right ?

Yes you should be able to go back to your BACK UP if things don't work out for you with the MP. Just Flash it back to your phone with FB3 and all should be well.

I can't make a backup or flash nightfall r4515 with flash & backup I registered today and added the R4515 profile

Nightfalls MP for R4515 with D3R is Sticky! Please note that once you flash this MP you cannot go back to unsticky S/W without testpoint.

When i flash my backup(fb3),at CG1,it report crictical error 84.But i can flash another mp althouth after success report,it stuck at BL screen.My phone is same with nijntie.
What can i do now?

@ptd what file did you flash to your phone, you most likely flashed a "sticky" to your phone therefore u can't go back to your backup, u can only flash other sticky mp's

he can flash cg2 and 15 and it will be basically the same just staying with his current firmware version though

i had R4515 B3R and flashed D3R with no problem, then flashed CG 2 and 15 to get it back to where it was but with new firmware. i have had those problems also, use the USB port on your computer mainboard, not a hub.

good advice not alot of peopel relize hat using ahub rather than a post will hinder the performance and most likely not allow u to connect ur phone in p2k mode at all
