cant port patches....advice?
ive been trying for the past hour to port patches from 515 to R3443U2 but it wont work
ive tried the clock font patch but when i patched the f/w nothing changed (on the phone) now i tried to port the USB_charging.fpa patch and it bricked my phone lol (it was flashing on and off and wouldnt turn on. i flashed my backup after forcing b/l and it revived it, but im wondering why i cant port these freakin patches? i KNOW i followed the Z3 guide TO THE LETTER but its not working .

lol yeah i tried to port one that had only one little line of code but i still screwed it up

For most patches, you have to compile the source for every particular firmware.
Have you found an exact match of the offsets in the both firmwares?
