Ok so heres what happened: I just got a Razr v3r off a friend and it was running really slow/wouldnt send any mms/had no space. So i decided to follow the deletion suggestions tutorial on this site All good so far, after deleting all the suggested files, i started up my phone and all i could see was a white screen with a bar showing signal battery etc etc at the top, however the camera still worked.
So i decided to flash it with a stock flex, nothing, tried reflashing, nothing every time i try to flash i get 1 of two errors, chipset not recognised, ramloader invalid. After trying many different flashes all which failed before even loading the first file (CG1) i decided to downgrade the bootloader from 0A.52 to 0E.42. I followed the steps (again on this site) to downgrade to bootloader which worked successfully. However after all that attempted flashing and testpoint etc it wore my battery down, now (i think) its completely dead. I cant charge my phone anywhere (dont know anyone with a razr) and i cant work out if the phone is totally utterly completely bricked or whether the bat is dead and wont charge :S
no way to tell with a dead battery. try plugging it in anyway to see if it will charge. if the phone is bricked the battery will not charge, but who knows maybe youre not bricked.
0A.52 is the Bootloader, and you can only downgrade that by performing a testpoint. OE.42R is the Firmware of a V3 R374. You will never get that to work. One is LTE1 phone, the other a newer LTE2. Get the battery charged somewhere and flash the tested D3R MP for the R4515.
I did testpoint it, which *was* easier than i thought it would be lol i downgraded the bootloader because its was already f***** so i thought downgrading it may make it accept flashes, only for the bat to die one i downgraded, i already tried charging it over night and nothing. Whether or not it charged and the computer just doesnt recognise it is anyones guess. Although i read somewhere the bootloader i downgraded to doesnt have a boot screen like 0A.52 does.
Now look. The Bootloader 0A.52, is a v3r Bootloader from a LTE2 phone. The bootloader for the v3 R374 are 07.D0, 07.E0, both don't show onscreen, then also 08.23, up to 08.29. If you have a 0A.52, you have not a v3 R374, but a v3r or v3i. Those cannot be downgraded to 07.D0 at all. Different Hardware, different phone, just looks the same. You can downgrade to 0A.30 via Harware Testpoint and PDS repair with Warez programs like p2k Easy Tools 3.9 cracked. But that does not enable really anything on the phone for you.
What we need to know, is what phone you have.
The Firmware ending you tried to flash is R374 Model, but the Bootloader is from a v3r R4515 or R3443u2.
So without knowing any more, no help will be possible.
The Battery will not accept charge while the phone is in flash mode. You need a different phone to charge your battery, or a different battery, or a stand alone Desktop charger.
I did mention in my first post i have a v3r. Ok all i know (now that i only have blank screen is that it was the R4515, it had the 0A52 boot loader. I know its not good but ive got power using an ordinary battery and wire. Not ideal but i dont have *any* money at all and it seems to be working. I downgraded to 0A30 which if i understand your post was a bad idea.
Ok so ill try simplify things.
I tried flashing multiple times and none worked (phone was still ok if a bit slow)
I used P2k commander to get rid of all the o2 branding pictures/audio files etc to free some space and accidently deleted some of the theme files needed, so when i started my phone it still worked but all i could see was the signal and battery bars but no menus camera still worked and other menus appeared but only if i remembered the right button sequences.
I tried flashing again (after which i was *Only* getting boot screen)
I tried downgrading the bootloader so flashing would work (then bat died) Ill hold off doing anything else until i hear back from you guys, thank you for your help so far
*edit* I've tried doing pds repair on p2k easy tools and it didnt work, kept saying somegarbled junk, then testpoint, even though i was testpointing and my phone was showing up in rsd lite as blank neptune etc

Ok. I move the Thread to the v3r section in a minute. I am online for a while today. So we can try to get this working again. If you have s-Blank Neptune, we need to restore some image. Best is to flash the full PDS007 MP for the R4515. I linkto it in a minute, have to look it up.
Ok, thread moved. here is the download link to the D3R stock MP, http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/down...o=file&id=6642 download it, unrar it and then try to flash that with p2k Easy Tools 3.9 or 4.1 . The cracked versions.
If you get no joy, try as well with RSD Lite. What is important to know, is where it fails, at jump, or at the loader. Make notes, and let us know.
Are you using the shielded TP or the open accessible one? Did you try to unlock? Why did you downgrade?

It all started because the phone was acting sluggish and kept saying there was no room to send pic messages, so first i tried updating it but warranty out of date, so then i found the wonders of mod my moto (great site btw) and decided flashing my phone blank might work, which didnt, so i decided to delete the stock files and messed it up.
So i tried flashing again which failed.
So i downgraded to 0A.30 (then bat died and stopped charging)
Every time i attempt to flash i either get something failed to do with ram download, or something to do with incompatible chipset (even if its an R4515 mp or reflash)
Ok, first it is important to know if the battery is still full. It will not charge in the phon, while in Flashmode. I might repeat myself, don't worry, it is also if others in the future read this.
Incomatible chipset is when a v3 MP is flashed to a v3r. I hope you have not created a hybrid inbetween.
Sorry its taking so long my "alternate" power source is proving to be more fiddly than i first thought, it worked twice but now i cant get it to stay detected long enough to flash lol
I think ive just had a lucky break, the bat for my samsung e250 *JUST* fits the neg & pos terminals of the razr. Just charging the samsung now *sigh* its times like this when i wish i had lots of broken phones/phone parts layin around the flat like my step dad does. He buys broken phones on ebay fixes them then sells em on. Too bad i live 150 miles from him haha. Will let you know how it goes when its charged
Ok. sounds intriguing, lol. Make photos of a Motorola Battery in a Sumsum phone.
Butbe careful, batterys are no toys. better keep it watched, if it warms up or anything.
