Motorola W175 Modding

Hello everybody,

I got my Motorola W175 from my brother some time ago and I coudn't find any way to transfer ringtones / wallpapers to my cellphone.

I already installed the drivers (including the flash ones), but I couldn't find ANY program to manage, so can anybody help me please?

I'm not being able to connect it with P2k because the drivers aren't P2K ones, and I can't install the P2K drivers =(

Either more, I can't unistall the old drivers completely, how can I do that?

go to our dl section and you will see the p2k drivers
it will link to motodev and you download from there once you register
that will do everything for you!!!

Actually I tried something before, installing the w175 / w180 drivers, now I can't fully uninstall the following driver: PHILOG USB Serial CDC Trace

Everytime I uninstall it on the Device Manager, when I put the cable again, it auto-recorgnizes as PHILOG USB Serial CDC Trace, how can I uninstall that driver for good?

I did that, I still can't connect using P2K on W175...

I want to remove every sight of the PHILOG USB Serial CDC Trace, but I can't, how can I do that?

Its because this phone is a Locosto model. There are no drivers yet to manage the phone while it is on. The only drivers that anyone knows of so far is flash mode drivers, but these phones only stay in flash mode for a few seconds, so even with drivers, it's difficult to flash. You will have to wait a while until drivers are made to surf the file contents of the phone in its powered on state.

For your uninstalling drivers completely you should do through registery.
tap start on your desktop and then run then type regedit and find the apropriate line/file and delete it.But be so carefull if not you can delete something that harmful to your computer.

Here you can unlock your phone.But only unlock.if your phone not locked to any operator you don't need to do this.
read full thread and at post #9 you will find the link to drivers and etc.after downloading you have to read "read me" then proceed.
By the way as it stated former posts you cannot transfer pics etc. as soon as it is possible i will post it on a thread.So i am big fan fan of its bandwidth and moving train melodies.Nowadays i found a flash file of W180 but currently i do not know how to parse the firmware and extract material.if anybody has a knowledge how to parse .ubf and .bkp files i will be so glad.

To flash W175,you need a 2.5 mm jack data cable. For the flasher,you need LBI_MT&TF_DMtool_V1.7.0.9. The flash files is .m0. I have a slow connection. But I will upload the files ASAP.

Why do you want to convert it? It's compatible with the DMTool.

yes mate that is totally what i want.But is it possible to .shx .sbf?

My purpose is to extract the ringtones of W180.
ıf you have please post them here or upload somewhere.Unfortunately i don't have a w180 at the moment.
so, only way i get them is extracting from the FW
