W5 with bad firmware

I bought a w510 or a w5 from a chinese company on ebay, it has like a crappy motorolla firmware on it that seems to be geared for cheaper markets.

It accepts firmware that starts with

R452GL8_G- ....

I just want normal US type firmware that is somewhat available for the W510 usually with the prefix of

R452G_ ....

I am also more than willing to switch to a linux firmware if it is good, I am having trouble finding firmware files for my phone, many other phones seem more popular than mine....

I am using RSD lite 4.6 or so to flash firmware files to my phone

If you have any advise that would be great.
