Alright, between cash7c3, apristel, and myself, we spent tonight figuring out ringlights on the Maxx.

We have the structure down now, and have made up a guide detailing how to create and edit your own .flp file on your Maxx.

if anyone is interested here is a pack that will change your incoming calls ringstyles to add my custom one called hyperactive, incoming message/alerts, charging lights, and fully charged lights. enjoy

just upload files to a/mobile/system/

Here is one that just the Moto logo lights up.

Right now its 159.flp - charge comlete, but you can just change the 159 to whatever one you want from the guide.

Very nicely done guys. I had just started to fool around with these this evening before going out; I should have known the experts would crack it before me though.

Sorry to be a bit thick people.. Think I understood the guide and have downloaded cash's files. If I want to stop the bluetooth light flashing when charging or on an incoming alert do i just need to delete the entries with light id 6?
Oh and how do you save it back to a flp file?

Sure, if you want no Bluetooth light, delete all Set lines with light ID 6. Make sure then that you update your counters (timing will be off if you don't) and your Period value (total milliseconds the .flp will be active).

To save as an .flp file, with most editors you can simply type it in when you click Save As (example, just type 138.flp and click save). If that doesn't work, and you get a .txt document or whatever, then just rename it (right-click, rename) to have the .flp extension instead of the .txt.
