Games
Does anyone know where I can find games for this phone?
I tried copying my V3i games over and although most of them work, the display is too small because of the differences in screen resolution.
I particularly wanted Tetris (Jamdat/EA) amongst others.

What type of games do you site owners have? I've been trying forever to get the REAL tetris... but well... I won't say it... but yeah!

Na Jedi buddy, it ain't that simple... I live in Bermuda so it ain't that easy to download. We ain't got no (we used to) cingular or T-mobile or w/e... So us islanders have to inhabit our pirate ways...

OK well how do you copy .jar files to you memory card using P2k Commander? And if you can't... how do I get it onto my mem card?Last edited by weddi_eddy; 03-31-2007 at 05:50 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

The easiest way is to set the USB communication mode to Memory Card and your PC will then treat the transflash card as a removable drive....thus you can simply use My Computer or Windows Explorer to copy the jar file to anywhere you like on the card and then install the game/app via the phone's installation function in the Games and Apps menu.
Or, to answer your question re. P2K Commander: connect the phone in USB mode, start P2K Commander and when the phone is recognised, select the /b P2k Phone Tflash directory in the path dropdown menu in the LEFT window and then find the folder on the card that you want to transfer the file to. Use the RIGHT window to navigate to the jar file location on your PC, select it and then copy it to the phone's card folder in the LEFT window. Then you can install the game/app on the phone via the Games and Apps installation function. Note that you don't need the jad file (if there is one that accompanies the jar file)......only the jar.
The LEFT and RIGHT windows are interchangeable......personally, I find that it makes more sense for the phone to be on the LEFT and my PC on the RIGHT.Last edited by Maddcow; 03-31-2007 at 07:23 AM.

Which folder did you put the jar in? Did you use an existing folder eg. /b/mobile/system etc, or did you create your own folder? I've found that I can only see files that I've copied into the default phone folders....if I create a folder then the phone doesn't seem to recognize it and therefore can't see the files inside it.
If you DID use a default folder on the card and still can't see the file, then I'm not sure what's going on. I've never had an issue with seeing files that I've copied to my card, provided that I copied the file to one of the default folders.

I would try using google... try typing in things like "games+motostuff+v3x" because I think v3x uses the same resolution as the maxx, not too sure. Goodluck though!!

Apristel,
I've already checked this site:
http://www.eamobile.com/Web/Search.d...eID=en&flash=0
and if I could buy Tetris from there I would, but all it does is to link you to your own service provider.
My provider (Orange) doesn't have anything at all for the Maxx and doesn't have Tetris for ANY phone!
