will the maxx forums be of any help to me?
the reason i ask is because i have a v3xx. my understanding is that they both share the same seem map p2k05. i have searched the v3xx forum and have found alot but i want more!

The V3xx can be best described as a "close cousin" of the Maxx V6. In its early days, the V3xx actually had the Maxx moniker attached to it (Maxx V3).
In particular, you will be interested in this thread concerning cross-compatibility of FLEXes between the V6 and the V3xx:

Periodically, I will peruse the V3xx subforum just out of curiosity and because I had considered purchasing the V3xx at one time since it had the all-important GSM850 radio in it (I'm on AT&T).
My sights are now set on the new V9x, which is expected to become available soon on AT&T within this calendar quarter.
