V6 Maxx Speaker phone

Hi, Im new here and i have noticed something in my maxx which i dont really know if anyone else has it, whenever im on a call i turn on the speaker and i cant close the flip because it will hang up the call, now i had the moto v3i and i used to be able to close the flip when on speaker and it wouldn't hang up. im hoping there is some kind of way around this because it is frustrating to have to leave the sucker open, BTW this forum rocks and I love the V6 Maxx it gives a whole new meaning to Razr. There is a seem edit to that allows u to close the flip and the call will be still active. However, the microphone doesnt work, only the speaker phone. This works only if u have a headset attached.

i've read something about ur issue under the "Guides" tab..
it has something to do with "seeming"..
here's what was posted:
I want my speakerphone call to stay active when I close the flip. Simple enough, just edit seem 0032_0001>offset 8A>bit 2. Set it at 1 (checked) and the call WILL disconnect when you close the flip. Set it to 0 (unchecked) and the call will remain active when you close the flip.

Be careful with this coz this is a seem edit for the RAZR V3, not for the V6 maxx. Be sure to backup ur Seem 0032_0001 before editing it.

hey can u elaborate on this? i had the same question, because i could close my v3 with speakerphone on without any modding required.

i just wanna make sure theres no side effects or anything... anyone tried this out?

I haven't tested this but the seem edit is:
SEEM 0032_0001: offset 8B - bit 2: allow speakerphone with flip closed (0 on, 1 off) (microphone will not work)

You will not be able to use the mic with that seem edit. You will only be able to hear them, they will not hear you.

Anyone find a fix for this yet? Is there a seem edit that turns the microphone on when the flip is closed? I know people said the microphone wont work, but it seems like there would be a setting for this. My Pebl speakerphone works when the phone is closed.
