Backup your Bootloader


Oh well, this is a brand new guide for the argon phones, since we figured out how to edit the profiles of Flash&Backup 3, we managed to backup the Bootloader of the LTE and LTE2 by just deleting the ";" from the ;BOOT. That doesn't works on the argon phones such as RAZR V3XX, MAXX, K3, Z9, V9.

We are going to edit the profiles in the same way as the old:

- Go to your Flash&Backup 3 Folder
- then, go to the Profiles folder and find your profile, in this case, I will edit the R26111VL_MAXX.prof
- Right click on the profile and then open it with Notepad

Here's what you will see once the profile is opened with notepad:



Now, we are going to delete the ";" from the BOOT word and then, replace the A0000000-A000FFFF with this new address: A0000000-A0017FFF you should see this:



Save the file and we now have the profile ready to backup our Bootloader, it's time to open the Flash&Backup 3.

Once you open Flash&Backup 3, you will see this:



Select the Bootloader and make the backup! Make sure that you selected in SHX format or SBF format, SBF format it's the best to make your backups.

I would like to thank to the.C0r3 who gave me the correct address to backup the Bootloader from argons.

Well, this is just to have a backup of your bootloader, if someday you got your phone bricked and it needs a bootloader backup (thing that will never happen) it will be helpful.

Anyone tried to go back to BL 3.02 from the sticky 3.09 ?

We need to put the phone in Blank mode, and maybe edit the PDS, cause once you upgrade the BL 03.02 to 03.09 your PDS is edited by the upgrader.
