External key problem when flip closed

May peace be upon everyone.
I have a little problem here.
My external keys don't responds when my flip is closed. They work perfectly when the flip is open.
Can anyone help me?

A quickie:

1) Check if DRM is speeded up more than 75%. If so, reflash a DRM pack with one that is not so speedy...
2) If you have remapped all your keys, try reflashing your backup.

That's all I can come up to, right now...

It is working randomly now

How do you explain the problem on a stock phone?

Have you tried to flash another f/w? Do you see the same behavior?

If the problem persists, then probably it is hardware issue, e.g. a conductor on the flip.
Was your phone working OK before, or was it always like that?

Have you tried to Hard Reset it, and see what happens?

After having edited the "plmn_text_table.bin" file,my phone was unstable. It was rebooting, not charging etc. But it started to become stable last week. It charged normally and no more reboots. But then, the external keys were not working.

I will try another f/w later when i will be morally fit. I am extremely afraid of flashing.

You? Be morally fit? Come on, you have over 1.000 posts!!

Anyway, I think flashing another F/W would solve this. "plmn_text_table.bin" lies on the firmware. Or flash your backup CG1/CG2, if it has been done BEFORE you edited this .bin file.

This way you don't endanger anything...

This problem will be only on VL phones my 1LD works perfect all stufs on external screen, keys, etc.

I noticed the issue. Flashed stock, then edited the plmn_text_table.bin and after the reboot, they didn't worked. I'll see how can I fix it.

I flashed Setia MP in hope to fix this problem. But it didn't.

As i did not go to school today, i let my MAXX off since last night without batteries. 24 hours later when i switched it on, everything was fine

The external buttons worked at all times.

Lets hope it will continue to work
