Modding v6 with 02.f1 bootloader, some problem with sbf recalc

Hi all,
I'm a lucky :-/ possessor of a maxx with 02.f1 BL (after the latest pcb swap), and discouraged by the complete lack of mods (drm, fonts, mp, and other flashing-needing modifications) for my phone, I started experimenting by myself, but something didn't make me happy.
After reading how to backup my BL on this forum, I tried to make my first modification, creating a font.

I extracted an existing font with sbf recalc and substituted the ramdld with my own version. When i tried to recalc checksum sbf recalc gave me an error, and in the log I saw it searched for CG5.

Then I tried a different way, I backupped my phone's cg4, exploded the sbf and substituted CG4.smg with the one from the existing font. This time recalc checksum didn't raise any error, but I noticed the ramdld was different from the one I backupped first.

Is this difference caused by the header for the cg4 backup, that is different from the header for the BL-only backup?

Since there's no coming back if I fail flashing with this boot version, I'm a bit scared experimenting.

Maybe you could upgrade to the Bootloader 03.09 and then try a normal 1LD firmware.

I made some seems modifications, to unlock softkeys, disable gprs-always-on, and so on...

At the moment, I prefer not to flash 3.09, cause I've another year of warranty left. This is the last option I'd like to choose.

Did you mean Backup Bootloader or RAMDLD 02.F1 ?

Btw, i have a copy of STOCK firmware same as your current phone s/w.

No... since ramdld is different (all MP i found was for BL 3.02) I think it wasn't possible.

thats why i am asking, btw firmware with 0302 RAMDLD is compatible with your phone.
Such as 023E BL v3xx can flash 00302 RAMDLD firmware.

Sorry Kent, I didn't see your first post.
I backupped my bootloader, then extracted ramdld and tried to substitute it to the existing ramdld from the .sbf (was a font for vl series).
So, you are saying that I don't need to substitute ramdld? I can flash the existing .sbf file even if it is for 03.02 bootloader? Is it true for mp only, or even for any other flash (drm, fonts...)?

Semseddin, I didn't try cause I thought it would brick my phone... Can I flash any VL mp?

aLL r26111VL stuff are compatible wt your 02f1 maxx v6.
