Help Please!

I've been trying to load a skin and language pack onto my phone but I'm having so much trouble.

With regards to the skin I was using the Iphone with the p2kcommander installer and it would not display on the phone skin menu.

About the language packs I've gone through a bunch(including the one in the downloads section) and the ones which are US English delete my Obey Moto, so I had to go back to 0024 I found. What LP should I use?

I am new to the flashing/flexing scene and I've been reading all the material but it is still confusing to me because I don't know what I'm doing wrong. If someone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

make sure that skin is for KRZR/RIZR and if you are having problems with the p2kcommander, you can install it using SkiMan. about flashing the language packs, just use FB3 to install it then copy all the VST files in c/mobile/vst and set the attributes of 000d.ver and all files with enus in their names as system files.

open p2ktools3 and on the file manager, go to c/mobile/vst. put the vst files there that is included in the Language pack and set the attributes of all that i have mentioned files into system files. after putting all of them, refresh the list then you will not be able to see what you just uploaded in that directory. now set their attributes into system files.

Well I no longer have any problem with skinning. I've flexed a new MP onto my phone after a small LP disater led to my phone slowing down. Which leads me to ask, what is the fastest performing FW right now? I'm using 08R.

it makes it slower because of the corelet SynerJ that allows Screen3.

the LP does not slow down your phone. i can't tell about the speed of firmwares but i do know that the flex that does not have SynerJ are more faster.

How do I hide the Operator name on some skins, I choose the "hide operator" option in skiman but it's still there.

you will have to use skinner4moto to edit the skins.

Now something new has happened, on the skins I upload the clock(set bottom right) slide over pushing the minute digit off screen. What's up with that?

And does ayone have the original rizr Akali skin?
