Help R3 Access violation in P2K Tools

Hi newbee here.

I installed P2K tools 3.0.8 build 864 and Handset_USB_Driver_32_v3.5.0 files.

I can access my V3 with P2K but when I connect to my Z3 it says it is getting the list of files from /a. but then the list does not populate, if I click on the P2K screen I get the access violation below and then P2K does not respond.

Access violation at address 00409D65 in module 'P2LTOOLS3.exe". Write of address 00000000.

never heard of that. i would try reinstalling p2k tools

I reinstalled the self extracting drivers and downloaded P2K tools again. I put the USB settings into data mode and connected the phone. I clicked on the refresh and the 2 bars loaded and went to 100% and then stayed there. P2K showed not responding in the task manager so after about 3 minutes I ended the task.

Any ideas?

if your firmaware is on f1 then i think you have to remove the memory card i had same problem
or why not just try using p2kAE

most people with F1 can't even use p2k tools. p2k commander works best with that firmware.
