Moving saved SMS between phones?

I tried to save my saved text messages from my v300 to my RIZR but ran into some problems. Drivers were the initial problem until I finally got it to work. However, I figured MPT could allow me to archive the text messages and then send them over to my RIZR but I was mistaken, ran into problems with MPT reading my v300 (p2k tools worked fine). I did however, make a complete download of a/ using p2ktools and used Moto Data Recovery 1.2 to save SMS into a .psb and was wondering if I could use the same tool to "burn" the .psb file onto my RIZR with no problem? Would this work or am I missing something? Hehe

That's for Rizr though, yes? I want to transfer from my old v300 to my Rizr hehe.
