invalid battery anyone?
ok so i started to create a database for my itunes, maybe i became impatient but it wasn't moving so i exited out and turned off the phone. when i turned it back on i was shown an 'invalid battery' during the boot process then under my carrier on the home screen. also appeared when making a call under the name. so im confused, phone still works fine but where/why/how/?

edit: still unsure as to why this happens, but shutdown the phone again and restarted it, no invalid battery. started to create db for itunes, waited 10 mins, no progress. shut down phone. upon restart... invalid battery. if i should continue this under the iz3 mp post let me know.Last edited by lloudal; 09-08-2008 at 05:55 PM.

usually that message comes from water damage. but as i found out recently, sometimes it really IS a problem with the battery. but if it is gone, hopefully it was just a fluke!

fluke or minor bug, happens everytime like clockwork. decided to bear away from that path and did the mediamonkey db repair. worked great, only when i brought up itunes and played a song there was no sound. and yes i tried to turn the volume up in ever setting even the java sound. figured why not try a restart. now itunes won't load, clock just disappears from status bar... i shake my fist at this should-be-simple-yet-proving-extremly-frustrating program

MIKE
when you say water damage
do you mean the battery or phone
my phone has no water damage but maybe the battery
only one of my batteries does this

just another follow-up post. itunes has officially stopped working. let my phone sit for a good half hour, stayed at the same screen. has there been any reported issues with uploading a database via mediamonkey... im going to delete the database to see if anything changes. fyi my library consists of 66 songs.
...edit...
deleted db. shutdown phone, re-powered on. itunes working flawlessly, just no database.
also i notice another file in the same folder as the iTunesDB. it was called iShell. deleted that too. not sure if that was the issue. guess ill keep trying.
...edit...
i guess you can delete this post. placed the db file i erased (moved to desktop) back in the folder. reboot. everything works fine including sound. im done with these shannigans for the eveningLast edited by lloudal; 09-08-2008 at 08:01 PM.

why
i had that problem with the sound too all you have to do is:
1-reboot phone
2-wait for itunes to load
2-close itunes and open sound file via multimedia
4-turn up volume on sound file
5-reopen itunes and it should work fine

remember to say thanks and thanks 4 the sig
