Where are text messages stored?

I have an unbranded/unlocked Z3 on Fido network. It has been flashed with a MP from thelaxplaya. When I receive a text message it will say "message 7", or whatever number of messages I have received. I don't delete it, but then it returns back to the home screen and I can't find out where they are stored to read them later.

If I go to the "messages" menu it only has the following listed;
New Message
Voicemail
Templates
Info Services
Browser Msgs


Only thing I can think of is its related to the MP, but I'm not sure...

hmmm there shouldnt be any problems its saved to the phone by the mp but u can change that to the sim, also press the up arrow to get to msgs
