Heap Patches 3 versions available only for R452B 0DR:

--Increase elf heap to 6x128kb (=768kb?) (Bigheap_Z3)
--Increase Java heap to 4500kb, elf heap to 5x160 and corelet heap remains unchanged.
--Increase Java heap to 5100kb, elf heap and corelet heap will no longer function.

yes but it has no corlet & Elf heap (it is posted in l7i patching thread by me)

Java SMS (Java turns at the parish sms?????)

--I believe this resumes java when incoming sms message prompt dissapears, but I'm not sure.

Draw Field (Increases size of font in list menus)

I have not tested these, but osta said they work

Thanks to jaims showing me these patches, I ported them to Z3 (2B-0DR and H6-05R)

Canvas for tunes

-- Allows for adjusting volumes for songs in tunes while keypad is locked. No need to unlock keypad to adjust volume.

As usual, patch is tested and working for H6. -- Untested on R452B 0DR, but it should work. Also, please note this does not work in iTunes or stock sound player.

it mainly use for adjusting volume in tunes using side volume keys (no need to open slide to change volume in player mode normally * & # is used for change volume in player mode)

allow_dir_creation(H6)

-- Allows for creation of directories on /c/ or /a/ with motocmd & file browsing programs like p2ktools.

What is this H6 thing? (The search function on this board is even worse for
this question than usual - it won't even accept "H6" because it's "too short").
I'm guessing that ELF is related to *NIX, but maybe not?

H6 is a software version: R452H6_G_08.00.05R. Since it is the only H6 RSA Removed s/w with patches, I just refer to it as H6 or H6-05R.

Yeah, we should be more specific, to be honest. Let's refer to it as H6-05R from now on, in case somebody starts patching a different H6 f/w.

Sorry - I think I need a more basic answer than that. Specifically, in an earlier message on this page you wrote "Increase elf heap". ELF is the name of a Solaris binary format that also runs on Linux and a few other *NIXs. Can this little Z3 run some variant of *NIX, or at least [some of] its binaries? Or is the elf you wrote about more related to the fairies at the bottom of Mr O'Rola's garden?
