wow and mine is really quite. even if i turn the volume up on the headset itself. then it just gets crackely and distorted. but still quite. but when i try it with my v3 it's plenty loud enough.

so you've tried just turning the volume down manually on the side of the phone and it makes no difference until you reach 0? how strange.
alright i think i made some progress. i downloaded my audio_cfg.db from /a/mobile/system and my gain_table.bin from /a/. i then opened audio_cfg.db using Motosound 1.2.0.8. modified my settings up 3 notches and saved it to my pc. then i opened my gain_table file using GPTE v 1.2.07. ramped everything up 3 on the main page. then went to the blue tooth page and upped the earpiece volume from 8 to 15. and saved it to my pc. then i used p2k tools and deleted the 2 files off my phone and uploaded my modified files. it seems louder to me. not as drastic as doing it to v3. but i didn't wanna push it too much. i don't want to blow out my speakers. anyway. hope that helps.Last edited by CandymanMike; 02-11-2008 at 11:35 PM.
