Is there any way to unlock cheap motos like C122?

The cheap phones like c122 don't have a port like the p2k ones. All it needs is a subsidy password. Is there any way to calculate that?

Some IMEI unlocker online companies say they can, but it is usually without garanty and a hit and miss. You pay and maybe it works maybe not. I am not sure about the c112 but I believe you get access to its programming via the head speaker port.

so if I take it apart there will be a mini usb port where the speaker plugs into? A port where I can unlock? What I am really trying to understand is that these codes can be calculated somehow so how come nobody has figured out the algorithms to make a calculator?

Motopilot i belive u misunderstood what dumba is saying about the headset port! U dont need 2 take your phone apart. The same port where u insert your headset jack that is also where u insert usb cable.

Ohh! That port is different from the normal mini usb port rite? Do they sell a cable for it or would I have to make one?

Its a bit more to it then just to make a cable. For the algorithm to calculate, I believe some folks have an inside view into some databank and are selling that knowledge. That it can be worked out by just using the IMEI I find hard to believe. Probably some info is in the phone itself to make a calculation work. To find that algorithm in the first place you would need a lot of IMEI numbers and their subsidy codes.

Oh well, I hope one day somebody comes up with a subsidy calculator. As for that cheap phone it really makes no sense for me to tell the person to pay for a code which will cost 10 Euros and the phone costs 20US. That phone so cheap that it is more worthwhile to buy another one for the desired network instead of unlocking. lol.

Yes, those phone r really cheap but yet still people still pay what it takes 2 get it unlock!

get the cable on fleabay and google for the dmtool software.

Search google for dmtool r compal tool. And mstool can also unlock a few odm phone. Dont quite remember if c122 is in the list!! And remember u need t191 com cable not usb.
