I've got a V3XX with R26111MLD (which I unbranded too ... lol).
Yeah, I just tried your .sm file, and there's no fs access granted to the untrusted domain.
I'll try to find the link to the .sm file that grants fs access so you can see the difference.
EDIT: Ok, I couldn't find the page on M3, but I found a mirrored page on another site, but I couldn't post the link. Anyways, here's the link to the .sm file that grants filesystem access. http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/atta...2&d=1178954332Last edited by rozzli; 04-13-2008 at 08:34 PM.

You see, madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

Hmm, I the link you posted is different than mine. I think that one grants full network access, but no fs access either.
BTW, the .sm file that grants filesystem access is neat, but it gets rather annoying to constantly click "grant access" when using XploreMe.
EDIT: Ok, I guess that file does grant fs access.
You see what I mean though, you can't have the best of all worlds here.
EDIT2: Both your .sm file and the "filesystem access" .sm file also break Yahoo! Go. It's a signed app, but I wonder what CA signed it. I understand Cingy apps not working, but Yahoo! Go isn't signed by Cingy, at least I didn't think it was.
EDIT3: Interesting, I guess Yahoo! Go is signed by Cingy. Need to find Yahoo! Go that was released for a generic v3xx, but that's another topic.Last edited by rozzli; 04-13-2008 at 08:56 PM.

Get a developer certificate. Then sign AT&T apps etc. using it. Also run generic sm file.

Thanks Semseddin for the signature and avatar.

I'm new at this so I don't know where to get a certificate, sign the apps, etc. Care to share some details on how to accomplish that?

I just got a developer certificate. It's a nice work around. I still plan on working with Bupah's to hack j2me_domain_registry.sm. My fear is that Motorola may restrict their policy on developer certs due to the many new requests from M3 users for them.
Then again, maybe they won't care.

Here a guy seems to have discovered the structure of j2me_domain_registry.sm . I hope this helps in creating a version with unlinited file access, in case you did not know this.
